PURPOSE:
Berry Global is now seeking a Corporate Automation Engineer to be located in Evansville, IN or be remotely located within the United States. The responsibilities for the Global Insurance Risk Analyst include oversight of Berry Global Group’s Controlled Master Program and assistance with any other treasury related activities. Position plays a key role in the Company’s risk management initiatives by formulating strategic objectives and developing tools to minimize risk.

The Automation Engineer will play a technical role in supporting new capital projects as well as providing support for continuous improvement in regards to existing equipment and processes. Engineer will travel to other Berry locations as needed to support with various other projects. Responsible for inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing all plant automation equipment. In-depth knowledge of all plant machinery operations is required. Must be knowledgeable of industrial electricity (all phases and voltages), mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic operations, troubleshooting techniques, blueprint, schematic analysis and proper use of tools and diagnostic equipment. Responsible for identifying equipment deficiencies which affect quality control, wear and tear and excess costs. Must demonstrate proper documentation and housekeeping practices to insure quality maintenance is being performed and communicated.

SUMMARY: The Pre-Press Operator is responsible for the manufacturing, set-up and positioning (mounting) of printing plates. The Pre-press Operator is responsible for the inspection and identification of defects in the negatives, raw material, printing plates, sleeves, mounting tape and cylinders.

As a member of the Product Development team, the Product Development Project Manager (PM) will have responsibility for all technical aspects of a development project from the point of research to full production capability including all milestones, product and performance specifications, as well as project budget and schedule on appointed stages. PURPOSE:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for reviewing BOM for preparation of standard cost for products produced at our Benson, NC facility as well as preparing cost studies requested for new and existing products. In addition, the Senior Accountant is responsible for reviewing plant expenses for accuracy, preparing journal entries for month end closing, reviewing of the accounts payable accruals and resolving issues with aged items, auditing/reviewing monthly and year-end physical inventories and calculating select customer rebates and commissions.
