Purpose:
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plastic injection molds in order to meet production requirements and molded part quality. Provide support to other departments to improve performance and efficiency of the process.
Main Responsibilities:
- Repair, modify, and service high precision plastic injection molds and related tooling. OEE (overall equipment efficiency) KPI within Operate Tool Room machines, including mills, grinders, lathes, drill presses, etc.
-Study blueprints to determine material dimensions, required equipment, and operations sequences.
-Provide support to other departments in order to resolve quality and production problems.
- Maintain parts inventory, work order entry, and other data entry tasks accurately. OEE (overall equipment efficiency) KPI within
-Record specifications, production operations, and final dimensions of tools for use in establishing operating standards target goal and procedures.
-Protect intellectual property and confidential information.
- Other related duties as assigned.
-Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety

Education/Skills:
- High School General Education Required English Fluent
- Required Mold repair experience 3 years

The Flexibles Division has an immediate need for a Sr. Product Development Engineer to work with our industrial customers (shrink bundling, industrial and agricultural). This position is key to our commercial success through fostering strong customer relationships. PD Engineers are frequently called on to support commercial efforts through product recommendations, design, and cost out. Purpose:
The Lining Technician is responsible for the setup, maintenance and Troubleshooting of lining and assembling machines.
Areas of Responsibility and Authority (responsibilities are not limited to the following)
- Diagnoses and resolves problems on Lining and Assembly machines.
- -Follows safety standards while working on Lining and Assembly machines and reports any safety issues immediately to Shift Leader.
-Ensures quality standards are met as established for lined and assembled parts.
- Tooling set ups on Lining and Assembly machines.
-Pulls tooling and sets new tooling.
-Performs start-up procedure, including line clearance.
-Responsible for proper storage of dies and related equipment after removal from Lining and Assembly machine.
-Runs materials and product to and from the Lining and Assembly area.
- Performs preventative maintenance on Lining and Assembly machines on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.-Notifies Shift Leader of any worn dies or equipment noticed during preventative maintenance.
- Maintains proper documentation for all Lining and Assembly materials and machines.
-Daily, weekly, monthly reporting of OEE and scrap information.
- Provides support by directing the work of Machine Attendants.
-Communicates and delegates planned and unplanned activities in conjunction with department production monitoring system (Barco).
-Instructs other Machine Attendants in informal and formal training sessions.
-Assigns and relieves Machine Attendants on Lining and Assembly machines as needed.
- Maintains direct involvement with Molding, Quality, and Maintenance.
-Communicates with prior and oncoming shift personnel regarding daily issues encountered.
- Supports and maintains all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.

The Flexibles Division has an immediate need for a Sr. Product Development Engineer to work with our converter customers (printing, laminating, bag and pouch making). This position is for a Product Development Engineer in Berry’s Converter and Specialty Industrial segment. This position is key to our commercial success through fostering strong customer relationships. PD Engineers are frequently called on to support commercial efforts through product recommendations, design, and cost out. This can involve developing new film blends through design, trialing, and scaleup to achieve unique customer requirements. Will work closely with customer technical staff as well as internal groups such as product managers, sales, operations and the management team.

Purpose: The Injection Molding Process Engineer is responsible for the performance results of Process Engineering and Quality Assurance. The selected individual(s) will be viewed as key technology leaders, and serve as resources for the region with overall accountability for process control systems, quality and process problem resolution, and change management. The individuals will also work with regional site leadership to achieve performance measure goals, and to drive the continuous improvement process.
