The Quality Assurance Specialist manages the inspection and release of incoming materials, COA/COC process, and Hold for Inspection (HFI) process and supports Document Control process.
Manages the inspection and release of incoming materials (color, resin, material, liners) and COA/COC process.
-Maintains all records (computer logs and paperwork).
-Provides accurate, timely documents as needed by Shipping department and customer.
-Reviews supplier COAs, inspects, and releases or rejects incoming raw materials.
-Creates and supplies applicable part certificate to customer (COC, COA) and maintains records.
-Communicates with vendors and customers as needed to assure accurate data/reports.
Leads HFI (inspection, reselection, rework) process.
-Manages NCR's (InfinityQS, SAP, Excel) databases.
-Continuously monitors non-conforming product (inventory, defect data, etc.) and provides reports as required.
-Assures quality of HFI inspection/reselection and timely results.
-Maintains HFI and NCR records and reporting as required.
-Communicates and delegates planned and unplanned activities to HFI employees in conjunction with department goals.
-Instructs HFI employees in informal and formal training and coaching sessions.
Manage Production PR Packets .
-Assure production ren packets are printed and completed on time.
-Assures all labels for each Pr packet are printed and placed with the appropiate packet. -Review, close and file all PR packets form productio.
-Keep inventory of all the labels for production.
Maintains accurrate SAP Inventory from non conformance product
-Place & Release Non conformance product on hold in SAP.
Supports product testing as needed for back-up (visual, functional, dimensional).
-Reads and interprets Part Specification, Quality Plan and Blue Print.
-Performs visual and functional inspections of product (Work-In-Process and Finished Goods).
-Properly uses measuring equipment [Caliper, Micrometers, Torque meter, etc.].
-Collects applicable information for product traceability.
-Gathers applicable documents for package prior to start-up.
-Approves labels for regular jobs and samples.
-Supplies accurate data to Manufacturing department while troubleshooting.
-Maintains records of job execution.
-Support Quality Training Events.
Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to ISO/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.

The Consumer Packaging-North America Division has an immediate need for a Product Development Engineer. As a member of the Containers Product Development team, this role will have responsibility for all technical aspects of a development project from initiation through full production capability. Job Title: Accounting Manager

Reports To: Finance Director
This position will be responsible for establishing, auditing and reviewing proper accounting and controls over all inventory transactions. Establishing and ensuring the ongoing accuracy of standard cost for products produced at the Washington plant. Reviewing and analyzing manufacturing, purchasing and absorption variances to ensure accounting accuracy. Responsible for modeling costs.
The individual will be lead financial representative at the site. Will interface with the plant at all levels. Including leadership and shop floor. This position will have contact with Corporate Accounting personnel, as well as Accounting personnel at other plants. Additionally, there will be contact with Marketing and Operations Management.
Knowledge of and skills in the use of office machines (computer and copier) and business procedures. Strong computer aptitude and experience. Proficient to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
Job functions will be performed in office areas and in and around the production facility.
This position will interface with the plant workforce and management team as well as corporate personnel. Externally, this position will deal with outside vendors.
