Nautic Partners, LLC completed its acquisition of the Specialty Tapes business from Berry Global Group, Inc., rebranding the company as Vybond™. As a standalone business, Vybond is poised to strengthen its leadership in pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, delivering innovative solutions to industrial and specialty markets worldwide. Headquartered in Franklin, KY, with facilities in Riverhead, NY, and Bristol, RI, Vybond Group, Inc. manufactures specialty foil, film, and duct tapes and adhesives. With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries. 

Responsibilities

Job Summary:  The packer is responsible for packing rolls after slitting on the Slitter and place cores in rolls to prepare for shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Abide by all Safety and Housekeeping guidelines
  2. Working knowledge of ISO, SQF, GMPs
  3. Inspect and pack finished product on one or more injection molding machines
  4. Check quality of the product and the packaging
  5. Apply labels or handles to products or containers as required
  6. Keep count of finished product
  7. Keep count of any scrapped product
  8. Complete all required paperwork
  9. Assist in training others
  10. Other duties as assigned

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Essential duties include some lifting, pushing, pulling, and walking/standing on concrete surface for up to 10 hours/day

 

Compensation: $18/hr plus medical benefits, 401k, Holiday, Sick and Vaction time off
