Responsibilities

3.1  Responsible for taking out scrap and clean rejected bottles from the Production Floor to the Grinding room.

  • Responsible for Preparing Gaylord under the cyclone stand.
  • Responsible for weighing and tagging Full Gaylord’s brought out from the Grinding 
  • Daily housekeeping to GMP standards in the Grinding and Blending rooms.
  • Daily Focus on ownership areas.
  • Operate the scrap grinding equipment and feed scrap product into the grinder.
  • Responsible for grinding scrap and clean rejected bottles.
  • Responsible for sending scrap regrind to Warehouse and clean regrind to Blending room.
  • Responsible for taking out purge from Warehouse, weighing and tagging them.

3.10 Follow all safety requirements of this position.

3.11 Any and all other duties assigned.

 

Qualifications

.0 Qualifications:

 

            4.1 Skills

      4.1.1 Self-motivated and able to work with minimal Supervision.

      4.1.2 Ability to read and write English.

      4.1.3 Must Maintain Power Jack license to be able to safely use the Industrial Equipment

      4.1.4 Ability to differentiate between various grinders

                  4.1.5 Ability to print legibly and fill out forms.

 

            4.2 Physical Requirements/Work Environment

      4.2.1 Must be able to work twelve (12) hours per day, five (5) days per week. Overtime may be necessary.

      4.2.2 (Obsolete Temperature information, due to facility climate control)

      4.2.3 Noise level is 90dB.

      4.2.4 Polyethylene, polystyrene, PET, polypropylene and purging compound materials are both processed and ground, which provides some fumes and dust.

      4.2.5 Must be able to use a pallet hand jack for moving materials weighing up to 1,000 lbs. Ability to grasp with hands and push/pull materials.

      4.2.6 Must be able to wear protective clothing such as a hairnet, rubber-soled/steel toed shoes, earplugs/muffs, hardhat and a beard guard (if applicable). No jewelry except for a wedding band without stones.

      4.2.7 Must be able to lift 35 lbs. occasionally during the day.

      4.2.8 Must be able to stand approximately 90% of the day.

            4.3 Organizational Relationship:

            4.3.1 Reports to the Production Supervisor.
