Responsibilities

 

1) Manage personnel in compliance with Co.Policies

 

2) Meet Molding Efficiency goal of 105%, MEEF of 85% & scrap goal of 1.2%

 

3) Ensure product quality standards are met

 

4) Hold regular shift meetings and Safety Huddles

 

5) Ensure ongoing OTJ Training of all employees

 

6) Assure scheduling of shift personnel

 

7) Provide employee performance feedback through evaluations and coaching

 

8) Explain/distribute departmental information

 

9) Assure Department housekeeping

 

10) Understand QAN Database & Root Cause Analysis  

 

11) Enforce Critical Safety Behaviors/ Plant Safety rules

                                              12) Maintain positive teamwork and empowerment.

Qualifications

Enforce  ISO, GMPs, SQF, & Critical Safety Behaviors

Must be able to work flexible hours & overtime as req.

Must have excellent attendance.

Must be well-organized and have proven ability to work independently and with a team.

Previous leadership experience required.

Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting (up to 50 pounds periodically)

Capable of visual acuity to include distinguishing color variation and detecting defects.

Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.

Must be able to perform all job duties in a safe and effective manner.

Must be proficient with computer

Must be able to operate forklift/pallet jack.
