Responsibilities

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Grinder consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

    

  • Insure a quality regrind product is being produced by separating different polymers, making sure all handles and gaskets have been removed and recording regrind totals for each shift.  
  • Monitor granulator for proper operation and report any problems to Maintenance and QA Manager
  • Maintain good housekeeping in Grinder Room and Scrap Area of the Warehouse
  • Ability to operator manual pallet jack and sit-down forklift

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Detail-oriented, good communication and dependability
  • Must be able to frequently lift, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to operator a forklift and pallet jack safety.
  • Basic writing and math skills
