With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries. 

 

Job Summary:

The Director of IT Applications is responsible for leading the rollout, customization, and ongoing support of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) ERP system across all Vybond plant locations. This role collaborates with technical and business teams to ensure the ERP system aligns with organizational priorities, supports manufacturing processes, and drives operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in D365 F&O and a strong understanding of business processes across supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the rollout and ongoing support of Dynamics 365 F&O ERP system across all three Vybond plant locations (Franklin KY, Riverhead NY, Bristol RI).
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deploy and integrate D365 F&O with other systems, including use of:
    • DevOps tools for streamlined deployment and collaboration.
    • MS PowerApps/Automate/Forms or similar solutions for process automation and data collection.
    • SQL Server databases for data management and reporting.
    • Azure cloud services for scalability and security.
    • APIs for seamless connectivity with external systems.
  • Partner with senior leadership and business teams to ensure D365 F&O solutions align with organizational priorities and adapt to shifting demands.
  • Translate complex business requirements into effective ERP solutions, with a focus on manufacturing, supply chain, and accounting processes.
  • Oversee the configuration, customization, and deployment of D365 F&O, ensuring adherence to best practices and alignment with business needs.
  • Oversee data migration efforts to transition data from Berry Global (ParentCo) systems to Vybond’s D365 F&O platform.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of the ERP implementation project, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and seamless system integration.
  • Act as the primary contact for D365 F&O matters, providing regular updates to senior leadership on project status, team performance, and system improvements.
  • Stay informed on new D365 F&O features and evaluate their potential impact on Vybond’s operations and future initiatives.
  • Build and lead a team of functional analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement to support Vybond’s strategic goals.
  • Acts as a focal point for communicating related system problems within the department and collaborates with other teams and vendors on changes, fixes, and updates
  • Manages the future release process for D365 applications which includes effective department wide and end user communication.
  • Manages D365 applications delivery and SLAs by guiding incident resolution, problem management, maintenance, and enhancement tickets raised by the end users for assigned applications.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience managing business systems, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, specifically in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and Accounting modules.
  • Demonstrated success in leading D365 F&O implementations, covering configuration, customization, integration, and managing complex projects in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and Accounting, with the ability to align these processes with D365 F&O functionality.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools to support agile project delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Microsoft’s low-code/no-code solutions or similar tools for process automation and optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server for database design, management, and reporting.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective engagement and influence with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in a carveout environment is a plus.
