Overview

The Quality Supervisor reports directly to the Quality Manager. We are seeking an experienced and innovative people leader for our Quality Department. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience collaborating with all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

  • Supports customer needs in coordination with plant management.
  • Oversee the Quality and Metrology teams.
  • Participates in Daily Management meetings and KPI strategies for Quality daily.
  • Support weekly quality meetings in conjunction with the Quality Manager.
  • Possesses and maintains an ongoing thorough knowledge of cGMP requirements and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with the Quality Engineer(s) to manage the plant’s Qualification of Change system based on customer requirements.
  • Participates in specification management: Assesses spec for capability, assembles data to support position, provide recommendation and coordinate plant input.
  • Participate in the review of manufacturing processes, equipment, and software changes to ensure that all quality requirements are met as needed.
  • Assists with internal audits and supplier quality audits as needed.
  • Manages continuous improvement activities regarding quality of all products as determined by manufacturing production events, heldware, scrap and customer complaints.
  • Ensures the quality department completes all training necessary
  • Maintains detailed records of quality defects, product reliability, and audit results.
  • Ensures compliance with internal and external quality standards through regular inspections.
  • Manage time and attendance for the department.
  • Motivates and coaches employees through good communication and frequent performance feedback. Identifies and coordinates additional training as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience required
  • Demonstrated level of professionalism with the ability to work well with all levels of the organization and external parties.
  • Experience in an FDA regulated industry preferred.
  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft products along with ability to present 
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards
  • Deep level of analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Flexibility to support all shifts as needed
