Responsibilities

 

  1. Supervise Quality Lab personnel including: Shift Leads, Quality Inspectors, and Rework personnel.
  2. Disposition all rejected product daily.
  3. Schedule rework and prioritize, as necessary.
  4. Support AW Printing, EVV-MLD, and EVV-THM with data analysis and trending to help provide the QAM detailed information regarding recurring mold and print problems.
  5. Backup SQF Practitioner / ISO MR
  6. Participating as an Internal Auditor at AW facility
  7. Track and trend TICs and NCMSs for AW facility
  8. Utilize FMEA tools to determine printing failure modes
  9. Maintain Kronos for QA department
  10. Maintain self service for vacation approvals for QA department
  11. Act as backup to Audit 5s implementation and effectiveness
  12. Attend production meetings to communicate current printing and molding defects
  13. Hold weekly meetings for QA team
  14. Coordinate special projects for QA team
  15. Work with Scheduling/Customer Service/Sales on when rework product will be available.
  16. Provide weekly trend reports for dispositioned product to Quality Manager.
  17. Manage day-to-day production issues by closely working with production staff, as needed.
  18. Audit 5S implementation and effectiveness in the plant.
  19. Design, lead, and participate in training activities for production staff in the effort to improve quality.
  20. Assist Quality Manager with investigations for root cause and corrective action.
  21. Arrange and distribute samples as requested by Sample Request Database.
  22. Investigate and/or implement new quality measuring and testing systems for defective molded products.
  23. Provide monthly statistical reports.
  24. Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements.

Qualifications

  1. College degree, CQE or equivalent Quality experience preferred.
  2. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  3. Working knowledge of C-Pro, Ignition, Six Sigma, Excel, Minitab, and Team Building.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Proven ability to lead employees in positive manner.
  6. Experience in material preferred.
