Responsibilities

  • Observe all Safety precautions, Food Safety requirements and Plant Safety rules to prevent injury to self or others and to prevent loss of material or damage to equipment.
  • Follow and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform housekeeping tasks in work area as needed.
  • Update PM schedule for all assets in tracking software and communicate to department personnel responsible.  
  • Assist in parts inventory updates and needs per the PM plan.
  • Issue, complete, modify as needed, close, and file all planned work orders.
  • Update facility asset lists (JDE PEM, Manager Plus, equipment tracking database, document control) as new equipment arrives and/or leaves facility.
  • Monitor all work orders in back log management to assure proper completion.
  • Collect and record machine hours to update asset tracking softwares.
  • Generate overdue PM reports and distribute documentation to personnel responsible.
  • Track contractor/vendor COI and ensure up to date.
  • Collect and record completed auxiliary process sheets and audit for completion.
  • Collect and analyze auxiliary blade rotation data.
  • Manage and report on quality system verification audit data.
  • Create Capital Expenditures.
  • Create and modify document control for Maintenance/Auxiliary.
  • Collect, assess and organize machine downtime data and communicate trends/issues as identified to department leaders.
  • Improve efficiencies of data analysis and data collection by creating innovative data management processes.
  • Collect data and create predictive analysis tools for associated maintenance data.
  • Serve as back up to MRO Specialist.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

  • Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be fluent with basic computer skills ex. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Capable of maintaining an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency with minimum of three years of experience in inventory control, shipping, and receiving.
  • Read, write and speak English.
  • Past experience / proven ability within the specified disciplines.
  • Negative drug screen test results.
  • Possess functional computer skills with a minimum processing speed of 25 wpm.
