There is a significant and growing need for improved data collection & management within packaging sustainability. This individual will collect and consolidate data from the Consumer Packaging North America division to support legislative reporting. This role will provide analytical insight for internal stakeholders to assist with portfolio decisions. The individual will be exposed to challenging project-based work experience, the opportunity to learn about Berry’s rigid packaging business and the broader packaging industry, and real-world experience in organizing data collection.

 

 

Assignment

This is a temporary, project-based position at Berry Global in the Evansville, IN Corporate Headquarters. The project is expected to last from Mid-May to Mid-August. The specific schedule is to be determined based on project needs and team member availability.

  • Schedule: 32-40 hours per week for a 3-month period.
  • Compensation: This position will be paid hourly on a temporary basis and is not eligible for company benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross functionally to ensure all are aware and can deliver relevant data to support product level details.
  • Review of Berry data to determine and compare sources, align to required legislative reporting frameworks
  • Evaluate data for opportunities to improve accuracy

Qualifications

  • Experience managing and analyzing large, complex sets of data
  • Expert-level understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Passionate about environmental sustainability
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
