With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries. 

 

HOURS: Night Hours M-Th 7pm-7am

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
  • Stay current on all safety procedures, particularly to those relating to Hazardous Materials, Solvents, etc.
  • Prepare and mix solvent adhesives as needed strictly following guidelines set in formula specifications and procedures, and sample each batch for Quality Control testing and documentation.
  • Become familiar with the operation of all mixers and all related equipment, including pumps, filters, scales, etc.
  • Work closely with the Coating Supervisor and Scheduler to ensure timely preparation of adhesive batches and continuity of operation.
  • Assist in training of new personnel.
  • Have the ability to receive and store raw materials neatly and safely.
  • Maintain and diligently complete mixing records including raw materials usage to ensure the traceability and proper adhesive composition.
  • Master bar code system, for proper transmittal of receiving and inventory transactions.
  • Operates the Solvent Still during working hours and keeps the log of Solvent distillation.
  • Aid Mixing Lead and Supervisor with information to maintain raw material levels. Assist Lead and Supervisor in the maintenance of the final storage area.
  • Ensure that batch preparation and mixer area are kept clean and all materials/drums are labeled and properly stored at all times.
  • Perform, if needed, a variety of other tasks of equal or lesser complexity as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The Solvent Mixing Operator should have the ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • The work schedule is 12 hours per day, 4 days per week. Work vary depending on the workload with overtime occasionally required.
  • The general physical requirements are standing and walking at least 10 hours per day, lifting up to 50 pounds a distance of 1-5 feet, the equivalent of 4 hours per day (lifting belt provided).
  • Some climbing and pushing, pulling or rolling drum containers, hand trucks, etc. may be necessary.
  • The job is both indoor and outdoor, and smoking is not permitted.
  • Protective equipment, such as safety shoes and glasses are required 100% of the time, and safety goggles, aprons, gloves will be required as necessary. All safety equipment is provided.
  • Forklift driving is required. The individual must pass the company’s Forklift Training Course.

Compensation:

 

$21/hr plus 10% differential for night
