The Human Resources Training Coordinator provides the best possible administrative and technical assistance in support of the human resources function, and the best possible administrative support to the management team, coordinates and administers training and development programs to maximize the human resource potential at the company all in accordance with company policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities

Training & Development

  • Partner with organization leadership for continuous improvement and refinement of on-the-job training plans. This will include learning manufacturing processes
  • Develop and organize plans, procedures, material and programs to meet specific training needs and correct training needs
  • Manage the logistics of training events, venue booking, and participation registration
  • Monitor training effectiveness and evaluate feedback.
  • Maintains data entry of companies training program
  • Ensure all training is properly documented, maintained and input into tracking systems.
  • Monitor 30/60/90-day reviews, to assure new hired employees integration process runs smoothly
  • Individuals must prepare routine reports and correspondence.

 

Recruitment

  • Supports the recruitment employment process, such as scheduling interviews, orientation, conducting new employee orientation, and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all required new employee paperwork and its entry into the computerized system.

Employee Engagement

  • Support coordination company events (Holiday Party, potlucks, monthly engagement activities, picnics, etc.)

Compliance

  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are complying.       
  • Support and maintain all policies of the company including but not limited to SQF/BRC Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, Continuous Improvement, and standard work procedures.
  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards       

Other

  • Sort daily mail.
  • Organize and maintain the departmental office supplies, ordering as needed.
  • Order catering service for meetings that require the Company to provide food, for Corporate and Customer Visits.
  • Prepare job postings, letters, memos, correspondence, charts, graphs, etc., for the department.

 

**Training period will consist of a minimum of 1 month**

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

  • Individuals can perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, employee policies and procedures, union contracts, handbooks, and benefit information.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written skills and a positive attitude to engage with personnel at all organizational levels

 

Education and/or Experience:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 1-3 years in Human Resources, Labor relations or a similar field.

 

Computer Skills:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Human Resource systems.

 

Reasoning Ability:

 

  • Ability to apply common sense, understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time.
  • The employee must be able to frequently move about the manufacturing plant campus, general office environments, production areas, and occasionally ascend/descend stairs
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
