Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manages and directs all technical team members for facility, machine, and electrical maintenance
- Coordinates with the production and quality departments to address all quality and equipment related issues
- Consults, provides guidance, and directs all engineering personnel on projects
- Consults, provides guidance, and directs outside contractors with new installations of production equipment, facility improvements, and infrastructure equipment
- Ensures Preventative Maintenance is followed on all equipment per all OEM recommendations
- Plan and Execute projects as assigned, identify needed resources, costs, timeline, and expected results
- Support Continuous improvement of the process and quality of product through development of the process, tooling and equipment
- Work to maintain and improve efficiencies on the production floor
- Support and utilize corporate engineering in the launch of new products and materials through the development of processes and tooling
- May be assigned to special projects to support plant goals
- Available to support 24/7 engineering coverage for the operation
- Promote and maintain a safe, clean work environment
- Assist other employees as needed. Foster a team environment
- Train others on proper troubleshooting of equipment and process issues
- Utilize root cause analysis to address process and quality issues
- Accountable for personal adherence to all applicable Safety, GMP, Food Safety and Plant Policies
- Utilizing engineering principles and knowledge to effectively troubleshoot equipment and process issues
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization (written and verbal).
- Good leadership skills and ability to systematically troubleshoot.
- Highly organized an able to work independently
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- S in Engineering Discipline (PET, IET, EE, ME)
- Read, write and speak English
- 3+ years in Facility & Machine Maintenance
- 3+ years in Supervisory & Leadership roles
- Experience with Facility/Building Systems including: Chillers, Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, Pumps, HVAC etc.
- Experience with Integrated Preventative Maintenance and Work Order Software: JDE and/or a similar CMMS experience required
- Experience in Capital Planning including Machine Installation and Automation
- Experience with Contractor Management
- TPM Systems/methodology
- Experience with Building Facilities
- Knowledge of Electrical Distribution (480v 3 phase)
