The Greenville (GREE) Production Department is committed to providing high quality products and service that meet our customer’s expectations. As a member of the GREE Production Team, you will report to the Shift Supervisor and will work closely with various team members to achieve a cohesive unit.
- Follow all Company policies as outlined in Handbook
- Follow all Berry GMPs, Safety Absolutes and Safe Working Policies
- Follow all safety and food safety policies
- Champion highest possible quality of goods in accordance with Quality Manual and Quality Absolutes
- Adhere to guidelines for Stop Work; Workplace Observations; and Zero Pellet Loss programs
- Know the location and function of the safety emergency stop buttons/cords
- Understand blade safety as it related to utility knife and j-knife
- Able to navigate QSI/CPro, Berry University and Self Services systems with assistance.
- Perform necessary housekeeping duties to support 6S and AIB standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor
- Must be able to complete essential job tasks in accordance with applicable Risk Assessments
- Able to run labels out of JDE and send to designated printer
- Able to maneuver the pallet-jack safely and efficiently
- Able to cut cores correctly on either core-cutter
- Able to operate a big-joe, jib –lift, and hoists safely and efficiently
- Able to read tape measure correctly down to 1/16”
- Able to band skid correctly according to customer specifications
- Able to weight rolls using lifting equipment and scales and record data legibly
- Able to operate a calculator and basic computer/keyboard functions
- Able to operate stretch wrapper safely and efficiently
- Know the different shaft color meanings for pinch points and lifting limits
- Leave adequate packaging & supplies for oncoming crew (at least two hrs. into next shift)
- Flexible to work in any machine
- Complete other assigned (compliance) courses in My Development
- Able to read a Traveler and understand it’s components (critical specs: size, gauge, roll footage, packaging and all pertinent notes in body of Traveler)
- Able to fill out tally sheet completely and legibly and/or enter data electronically
- Able to load and align core on the shafts
- Able to perform basic quality checks like size, gauge, and camber checks
- Able to use core checker
- Able to cycle the winder safely and efficiently
- Able to efficiently segregate scrap
