Responsibilities

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate helps assist in daily operations within the facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials, as well as ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all warehouse processes.

 

Responsible for the inbound inspection of those items addressed in Level III Work Instruction documentation (WI-00120, WI-00119, and WI-00110. etc.).Trailers:

Responsible for the inbound inspection of those items addressed in Level III Work Instruction documentation (WI-00120, WI-00119, and WI-00110. etc.).

  1. Trailers:
  • Loading and unloading trailers for shipments and transfers to outside warehouses.
  • Pre-staging outbound shipments, and receiving various size inbound loads.
  • Placing all received items in proper locations, according to FIFO.
  • Assure dock locks are engaged prior to fork-lift entry.
  1. Warehouse Organization:
  • Safe working conditions will be strictly adhered to.
  • Rows must be neat, orderly, and straight at all times.
  • Designated warehouse cleaning areas must be must be maintained at all times.
  1. Back up monitoring of silo resin:
  • Staging/ tap railcars as required assuring continuous supply.
  • Monitoring Silo resin levels and adjusting railcars and silos as appropriate.
  • Unhook and coordinate removal of empty railcars.
  • Verify all pertinent tracking information is filled out correctly.
  • Assisting with cleanup of any spilled resin.

 

 

  1. Computer/Records:
  • Ability to use a computer on a daily basis for inventory related tasks/concerns.
  • Interface with fork-lift panels to update system bar code transactions.
  • Trouble shoots system/scan errors as needed.
  1. Back Up Shipping:
  • Stage outbound shipments as necessary.
  • Arrange carrier and coordinate pick up times, and required paperwork.
  • Fill out all paperwork neatly and accurately.
  • Load pallets onto trailers without damage.
  1. General:
  • Work with QC on proper heldware movement of materials.
  • Work with shift supervisors on finished good recalls, if needed.
  • Assist with monthly inventory counts and other cycle counts.
  • Back-up crew leader (i.e. vacation, illness)

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency.
  •  Read, write and speak English.
  •  Past experience / proven ability.
  •  Must be willing to work flexible hours, as needed, including overtime and/or weekend hours.
  •  Basic mathematic skills are a must.
  •  Basic Computer skills are a must.
  •  Ability to communicate, and interface, with a wide variety of inside and outside sources.
  • Show flexibility to handle frequent changes to responsibilities.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Abide by all plant rules and safety regulations in the performance of the duties specified here in.
  •  Must have fork-lift license.
