Job Summary:        

 

We are looking for an experienced Print Technician to support our Night Shift Production Team. In this position, you will ensure that all Dry OffSet Printing machines are running to optimum speeds (MEEF, EFF and Scrap %) and producing quality parts.  This awesome Print Tech team takes safely mindset and their attendance to maximize efficiency.  English/Spanish bilingual skills preferred.

8 Hour Night Shift: 11:00PM to 7:30 AM Mon-Fri 

Plus shift differential

Some OT may be required

Hiring  Bonus: $1,000.00 

$1,000.00 per referral bonus

Bi-Annual Bonus Compensation

Responsibilities

  • Verify and maintain a safe and clean work environment/cell.
  • Ensure maximum output of printing machines through MEEF & EFF.
  • Respond and assist PMOT’s wit any issues on their printers or interfering with their job duties.
  • Supply and maintain your own tools per the Print Tech Tool List.
  • Work with the Shift Supervisor and Printing Technicians to ensure completion of daily tasks.
  • Understand and administer all aspects of set-ups, color changes, plate changes, & size change.
  • Parallel rollers & perform C.A.P. and other assigned duties.
  • Perform minor maintenance repairs as designated by the Group Leader or Manager
  • Change and trim blankets.
  • Clean and set-up color-heads.
  • Mix inks if needed.
  • Perform Printing Machine Operator duties when needed.
  • Make Q.C print standards.
  • Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and (HACCP) Practices.
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager.
  • Must Know the Quality Policy and apply it to working practices.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and help others as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have supervisor responsibilities. 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Three to five years previous supervisory, quality and or injection molding experience.

 

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. English/Spanish Bilingual skills preferred. 

 

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
