PURPOSE: To make certain that the production floor is lined out and that all materials and 

supplies are brought to the floor and/or ordered.

            To ensure THM Resin Material Handlers perform all daily tasks and production floor

            is maintained. While resin/regrind usage levels are maintained and measured.

            Resin is to be covered and labeled properly.  Resin needs to be scanned into

            DcLink and stored in designated location. 

• Provide guidance to Thermoforming Assistant Group Leads and Material Handlers.
• Enforcement of Safety Rules, ISO, SQF, HACCP, OSHA.
• Assist production with process recipes & resin traceability.
• Aid in the testing of new or advanced resins.
• Assist in special projects in the Thermoforming Materials Department.
• Assist in contacting contractors, acquiring bids and requisitions for funds for projects.
• Proper use of JDE systems including Kronos and Purchasing.
• Must be able to change silos and know when to do so.
• Must be able to fill out training checklist and be able to train Thermoform Assistant Group Leads and resin material handlers.
• Must consecutively communicate with Thermoform Assistant Group Leads and Material Handlers.
• Monitor grinding volume & assure goals are reached.
• Complete and analyze regrind usage reports & grinder logs.
• Support facility maintenance with trouble shooting and solving of material system issues.
• Unloading and pumping of rail cars and hopper trucks.
• Provide technical assistance to support the department.
• Manage various projects.
• To resume responsibilities of the Supervisor in their absence.
• Any and all other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
