Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineering support to production departments.
  • Provide engineering support to Maintenance Department and Building & Systems.
  • Provide engineering support for upgrades, replacements, equipment, and construction projects.
  • Manage and work on various projects as assigned by Plant Manager.
  • Requisition funds, contact contractors, and acquire bids for projects.
  • Oversee work to insure projects are completed within budget, time restraints and meets safety standards.
  • Safety Leadership – Embodies commitment for a safe workplace; acts as a role model on safety leadership, activities and communication
  • Accountability –holds self-accountable evidenced by say/do ratio, initiative and ownership actions (such as ensuring safety is more important than productivity
  • Communication – ability to communicate safety, goals and company expectations with appropriate levels of the organization; create clear, timely audience appropriate messages (both written and verbal).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Leadership abilities.
  • Organizational Skills including Computer Skills.
  • Ability to work on many projects at the same time.
  • Excellent communication skills.
