SUMMARY: Supervise personnel and activities on assigned shift to ensure timely production of quality products in a safe manner.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for achieving safety, quality, and productivity goals on the shift
  2. Supervise production activities and provide direction and support shift
  3. Enforce Company policies, safety standards, quality, GMP’s and ISO procedures
  4. Address employee concerns, resolve problems, train, coach and discipline employees
  5. Responsible for accurate production reporting (Mattec/WebEFF) and timekeeping
  6. Drive improvements in production efficiency and MEEF
  7. Direct work assignments and ensure efficient labor utilization
  8. Other duties as assigned
  9. Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement

Qualifications

  1. HS Diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience. Some college preferred
  2. 3+ years experience in leadership position with proven ability to deliver desired results
  3. Must have strong interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to motivate employees
  4. Strong technical, business, and organizational skills
  5. Able to plan and organize daily activities, analyze data and react to changes and challenges in the business
  6. Knowledge of operations and company procedures
  7. Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal
  8. Good software skills (Word, Excel, WebEFF, etc.)
  9. Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting (up to 50 pounds periodically w/ lift assist device)
  10. Capable of visual acuity to include distinguishing color variation and detecting defects
  11. Able to work safely in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms
  12. Able to work overtime as needed
