Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate the work load on their shift.  Assign maintenance technicians to task as needed and requested by plant department supervisors.
  2. Communicate to supervisors and the management team as needed about the status of the repairs being completed.
  3. Shift Coordinator is responsible to carry the Power Curtailment phone on their shift.  They must understand the requirements for shutting down the power in case of a curtailment and what process is required for contacting personnel outside of the plant.
  4. Shift Coordinator must have a good grasp of the company handbook and all safety policies, and is expected to educate their reports and enforce all policies.
  5. Shift Coordinators must lead by example.
  6. Follow all GMP, safety and company rules and regulations.
  7. Perform other duties as required or directed.

Qualifications

  1. Must have at least a 2-year degree in applied science or other technical degree or equivalent experience.
  2. A 4 year degree in manufacturing or engineering preferred.
  3. 5 + years’ experience in maintenance or related area of work.
  4. In depth experience and understanding of maintenance systems and metrics.
  5. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
