Responsibilities

The Packer Trainer will model Berry’s good Manufacturing Practices as they provide structured training for packers on the shift; evaluate employee’s progress; and provide status needs to the shift supervisor. The Packer Trainer ensures that training is uniform and consistent and is able to perform all the functions of a packer.

Qualifications

Understand and follow GMP and safe work practices

· 2 years manufacturing process preferred

· Good math skills & basic computer skills

· Attention to detail

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

· Able to stand/walk for 12 hours

· Effective verbal and written communication to employee regarding processes, procedures and AIB standards

· Able to work with minimal supervision

· Organized maintain

· Good attendance

· Using guidelines provided for training

· Ability to create a buddy system

· Provide training feedback and documentation

· Lead by Example

· Follow Safety rules

· Attend Training Courses
