The Flexibles Division has an immediate need for a Multi-Site Controller to support our Aurora, IL, Montgomery, AL and Victoria, Tx locations.   

As a member of our Finance team, the Multi-Site Controller will ensure that reported plant results comply with generally accepted accounting principles. This person will also help improve financial performance by working closely with Plant Management, Operations, Product Line Management, and Sales.  This role will also become the Retail Bags/Sht segment Finance leader with oversite from the Finance Director.  This position will sit in our Aurora, IL facility.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage plant financial reporting and P&L responsibilities for Flexibles facilities – Aurora, IL, Montgomery, AL, and Victoria, Tx.
  • Work closely with Plant Manager & V.P. of Operations for the facilities to identify and measure ways for improving the profitability of the business.
  • Drive improved financial performance by identifying and executing opportunities to increase sales and reduce costs
  • Ensure the facilities are Sarbanes Oxley compliant.
  • Manage annual budget process
  • Capital planning for plant maintenance and cost reduction projects.
  • Understand and implement best practices
  • Complete monthly financial reporting requirements
  • Provide accurate monthly financial forecasts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory, and data processing
  • Prior experience with ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards) and MS Office
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations desired
  • Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley as related to manufacturing accounting
  • Capability to build/maintain excellent rapport with management staff at each facility
  • Ability to travel as needed
