Responsibilities

The Automation/Robotic Technician is responsible for the assembly, setup, fabrication, debug and commissioning of new, used and rebuilt automated equipment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the preparation and completion of automated equipment.  Monitor and apply safety standards to maintain a safe working environment

  • Provide mechanical support, including but not limited to, assembly, disassembly and rebuild of automated systems
  • Provide electrical support, including but not limited to , panel building, field wiring, troubleshooting and component setup
  • Provide fabrication support, machining, cutting and welding
  • Support Electrical and Mechanical Engineering teams as needed

Qualifications

  • AA Degree in Technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Motivated, self starter with a willingness to grow and learn new skills
  • Working knowledge of both AC & DC electrical circuitry
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Reasoning, analytical, and problem solving skills
    • Desired Skills -
    • Prior Experience with automated equipment or machine assembly
    • Experience with Auto-Cad or there design software
    • Working knowledge of PLC or Robotic programming E.g. (Allen Bradley, Pro Face, Yaskawa, Fanuc, ABB) and machine vision systems)
