- Degree in Environmental Health and Safety related field or equivalent work experience.
- Five + years of previous EHS leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
- Experience in developing and facilitating Safety teams and committees regularly.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to drive involvement in safety activities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to explain the “why” behind our policies and procedures to develop a solid understanding of safety values.
- Proven leader and motivator.
- Ability to lead a strong safety initiative through active communication both in person and media.
