Responsibilities
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to read and work from blueprints
- Ability to use Precision Measuring Instruments such as Micrometers & Calipers
- Ability to troubleshoot minor machine and tooling issues (i.e. mold flash)
- Ability to use some tool room equipment with minimum supervision (speed lathe, wire wheel, belt sander, etc)
Specific Duties: (Included but are not limited to)
- Clean tooling components
- Perform tooling PM’s
- Perform tool repairs and changeovers.
- Disassemble, complete minor repairs and assemble tooling with minimum supervision
- Perform other duties as directed
Qualifications
Pre Requisites:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Read, write and speak English
- Past tooling experience / proven physical ability
- Must be able to follow direction well to work independently
- Must have good communication skills
- Must work with good housekeeping skills, safety, & GMP procedures
- Must be able to work in a variety of environments both on the production floor and in the tool room area
- Must be able to work on a variety of shifts and days of the week
