SUMMARY: Transport materials and product throughout the plant in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure color, resin, gaylords and other raw materials are in constant supply at press.
  2. Log out and return color and resin to/from the color room and warehouse. 
  3. Identify scrap to be ground at press; tumble mix material and place regrind at machines for use.
  4. Keep warehouse organized. 
  5. Use Power Industrial Trucks (Pallet Jacks) to transport materials.
  6. Remove finished product and rejected product from the production floor.
  7. Keep accurate records/ paperwork according to established recordkeeping procedures.
  8. Must perform any other assigned duties.
  9. Accepts responsibility to comply with all safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and any other regulatory requirements. And has the authority to report concerns that could impact these requirements or suggest areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  2. Must have excellent attendance.
  3. Must have good housekeeping skills.
  4. Must have knowledge of product identification and have basic math skills.
  5. Forklift experience a plus.
  6. Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.
  7. Capable of physical mobility including walking, sitting, bending, twisting, standing, pushing, pulling and lifting (up to 50 pounds periodically).
  8. Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
  9. Must be able to complete routine paperwork accurately.
  10. Must be able to work overtime as needed.
