Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Supplier Management process and any special requests
    • Document (spec) generation and revisions
    • Incoming inspection
    • Supplier correspondence and daily resolution of supplier material quality issues
  • Maintain control documents so raw materials and documentation effectively meet all requirements.
  • Confirm Supplier Material NCR's are adequately completed for traceability
  • Enter, maintain, and update Supplier Complaint Database (SCAR’s)
  • Work with suppliers to ensure solid root cause and corrective actions are implemented
  • Ensure debit memos are closed in a timely manner
  • Manage and report overall dollar value of rejected supplied materials
  • Maintain quality systems and processes to ensure raw materials meet requirements
  • Assist with quality systems audits (ISO9001 and IATF16949)
  • Manage supplier audits and / or supplier self-assessments
  • Maintain evidence of supplier certifications
  • Utilize purchasing / R&D feedback to develop new and existing suppliers
  • Manage the review daily releases process
  • Ensure all urgent releases are released in a timely manner
  • Review COA’s for accuracy
  • Manage incoming raw material inspections and certification requirements as required
  • Maintain supplier data base
  • Supervise the QA Team Lead – Releasing material in timely manner, accuracy of releases, etc.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or 3-5 years of equivalent work experience required
  • JDE, CPRO and Synergy experience is preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office suite (including Access), Lotus
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and work with little to no supervision
  • Willingness to work a flexible work schedule and travel 10% to 20% as required
