Responsibilities

  • The Group Leader is responsible for the supervision of all warehouse personnel with the exception of the Supervisor.
  • Provides means of adequate training to all department personnel.
  • The Group Leader shall determine what product goes to the outside warehouse, what stays at the plant, and where the product is stored in the warehouse.
  • Over see, provide trouble shooting and technical support for all shipping, receiving, traffic, off-site warehouse, office work, and everything else associated with the warehouse.
  • The Group Leader shall arrange shipments to and from bailing facilities, off-site warehouses, and any other facilities that Berry truck drivers travel to.
  • The Group Leader shall act as Supervisor in the absence of the Supervisor.
  • The Group Leader shall participate in the selection of new employees.
  • Assist the supervisor in investigating root cause on customer complaints.
  • Examining and approving employees time cards.
  • Group Leader is authorized to act in the capacity of the Supervisor's responsibilities, in the event of the department supervisor's absence.
  • Group leader assists supervisor in handling all disciplinary procedures.
  • Group Leader assists in scheduling of shifts 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years warehouse experience.
  • Forklift trained.
  • Intermediate Computer experience
  • Ability to perform mathematics calculations.
  • Ability to lead minimum of 20 people.
  • Willing to work over time as needed.
  • Previous leadership experience required.
