• Responsible to ensure that all aspects of department (people, operations and equipment) are safely utilized effectively to maximize productivity while minimizing cost and waste.
• The Production Mgr. is responsible for all supervisors, shift production employees and production equipment.
• Oversees the safety, training, upgrading, evaluation and performance reviews of entire Division.
• Must know blown film, troubleshooting, extruder drives, heaters and controls.
• Constantly follows quality and production and makes the necessary decisions to maintain maximum rates with high quality in an efficient time and manner.
• Assures that established policy, rules, regulations and procedures are followed.
• Works directly with the scheduler to ensure efficient and timely scheduling.
• Reviews jobs for production
• Verifies that all the information is included and accurate to it complies with the work order; scrutinizes and resolves discrepancies.
• Must verify production, quality and quantity standards on all lines.
• Constantly follows quality and production and makes the necessary decisions to maintain maximum rates with high quality in an efficient time and manner.
• Works with Maintenance Manager and Plant Manager on the installation of new equipment and newlines.
• Responsible for adhering to and executing the applicable Environmental Health & Safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for all employees according to Berry, local, state, and federal requirement-regulations.

• 5+ years production experience
• Solid computer skills
• Good English writing and speaking skills
• Basic math skills
