Responsibilities

  1. Must have High School Diploma or GED.
  2. 12 months experience in industrial maintenance or meet highest-level Production Assistant requirements.
  3. Must be able to identify basic mechanic tools.
  4. Must provide their own tools.
  5. Work well in team environment. Responsible for working with the team to maximize production requirements. 
  6. Operate machines, monitor work orders, and help break out area.
  7. Actively participates in troubleshooting of any equipment in area.
  8. Able to read and work from technical manuals.
  9. Able to use math as applied to maintenance.
  10. Able to follow verbal directives and perform routine and predictive maintenance.
  11. Able to communicate with packaging Techs and Supervisors.
  12. Ability to help coordinate routine operations of packaging lines.
  13. Abe to retain and apply learned knowledge.
  14. Able to pass forklift training.
  15. Excellent communication and people skills.
  16. Able to aid in training of new employees.
  17. Must be ability to perform the following task for 12 hour shift: stand and walk 90% of time, lift 50 pounds minimum, climb ladders, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, and bend to work on machines.
  18. Able to hear on the production floor and detect changes in sound from the machines.
  19. Able to identify color changes and track moving objects.
  20. Able to perform changeovers and setup of machines in assigned area.
  21. Basic understanding of mechanics in order to make process changes, perform minor machine repairs.
  22. Serves as an example for housekeeping and safety standards.
