Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the Technical Cell Production Operator (TCPO) ensures that components are produced that meet or exceed Berry Global's customer expectations by performing the following duties

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers and necessary adjustments to insure processes are in control at all times.

Perform daily machine inspections and perform PMs

Set-up Lining machines from a zero-state.

Conduct line clearance activities with Quality Techs.

Troubleshoot the machines and peripheral equipment as needed

Perform all activities safely, including the use of LOTO as required by company policy.

Conduct safety inspections of equipment and tooling prior to use.

Within the confines of the job, ensure the safe operation of all equipment prior to turning it back over to running production after work is done.

Enter data onto production and quality paperwork

Assist CPO as needed

Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and twelve months related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience of at least twelve months.

Ability to obtain a forklift license. 

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
