Purpose: Operate and maintain assigned lines in a safe and efficient manner with high quality and productivity, and provide support to the line leader.

 

Shift: Day and night shifts are available. Day Shift Hours: 6:30 a.m.–7 p.m.; 4 days on, 4 days off. Night Shift Hours: 6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.; 4 days on, 4 days off. Overtime is required as needed.

 
 

Responsibilities

  • Performs all tasks in a safe manner, wearing the required PPE and following all safety regulations.
  • BBS Participation
  • Create and maintain a team effort attitude and team approach
  • Meet productivity standards
  • Troubleshoot issues with quality or productivity related to the team or the machine
  • Make adjustments to machinery as needed
  • Coordinate with lab personnel, Team Leader, and Sr. Team Leader for issues and improvements
  • Perform 6S and other housekeeping duties required for the clean and safe work environment
  • Obtain and maintain Operator Certification
  • Train others as needed

 

Qualifications

 

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Recent manufacturing experience
  • Positive team-oriented attitudes and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to multi-task with little direction while maintaining high attention to details.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
