Responsibilities

Purpose:  To direct and supervise Molding Technicians, Associate Mold Techs and Operators in the Molding Department.

  • To produce quality molded product in a safe, efficient and profitable manner.
  • Assists the Group Leader.
  • Maximizes production and minimizes scrap.
  • Maintains and enforces all company policies.
  • Adjusts machines to make quality parts.
  •  Repairs machines and tools when necessary.
  •  Is directly responsible for production and scrap rates in their area.
  • Performs duties of Group Leader when plant is running less than capacity (Weekends/Holidays)
  • Executes paperwork required for job.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with product safety guidelines
  • Assist in other departments as requested by supervisor or manager
  • Follow all GMP, SQF & ISO standards

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Supervisory skills.
  • A self-starter with an eagerness to learn.
  • A background in Injection Molding is a necessity.
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Able to take direction and work with minimal supervision
