Responsibilities

 

PURPOSE:  The Employee Relations Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support for site Human Resources Department with a strong emphasis on the management of time and attendance, employee engagement and retention.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain attendance tracking system and keeping compliant with company attendance policy and management of any leaves of absences.
  • Process all weekly HR attendance reports and prepare any disciplinary/corrective actions.
  • Review and coordinate any corrective actions with designated HR team members for the administration of discipline.
  • Performs tasks to help maintain employee records including time and attendance records and leaves of absence including entering employee performance documents in to the HRIS system. 
  • Coordinate performance reviews at a range of designated intervals.
  • Assist with conducting exit interviews to determine reasons for separation.
  • Assist with the processing of local/site unemployment claims.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding. 
  • Focus on retention and employee engagement activities.
  • Provide comprehensive support to HR day to day operations.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications

 

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent HR experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and creative thought processing skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, coordinate, and plan.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and organization skills
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint required. Previous experience using HRIS software is preferred.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
