Responsibilities

· Develop the plant’s compliance and CEW training program including but not limited to: arc flash, LOTO, aerial lift, fall protection and PIV.

· Conduct training for current and newly hired employees requiring compliance and CEW training.

· Prepare and maintain training records for affected employees.

· Conduct annual and triennial CEW refresher training as needed.

· Partner with department technical trainers to ensure all training programs are relevant and compliant.

· Complete any work as assigned.

· Follows GMP and HACCP guidelines.

· Practice proper safety techniques and lead/teach the same.

· All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Work independently and as part of a team.

· Must have proven mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic aptitude.

· Must have working knowledge of arc flash, PIV, LOTO, aerial lifts.

· Must be Berry CEW certified or become CEW certified.

· Must be dependable, responsible and motivated.

· Must have experience presenting/training in individual and group settings.

· Must present in an engaging and motivating manner

· Must have the ability to safely operate forklifts and man lifts.

· Must have good reading comprehension and math skills.

· Must possess basic computer and Microsoft office skills

· Able to access computer training, released documents and GDC training

· Have a positive attitude and a desire to learn and teach

· Ability to accept and work within a changing environment

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

· Ability to climb up and down ladders safely.

· Must be able to stand, walk, bend or stoop through an entire shift.

· Good manual dexterity of arms and fingers.

· Must have 20/20 vision with correction
