Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the HR Coordinator's primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with administrative duties within the Human Resources Department.
  • Process employment applications and maintain tracking log; assist in scheduling interviews and pre-employment testing
  • Update Applicant Tracking System with new hires; off-board terminated employees
  • Conduct new hire orientations
  • Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll 
  • Run weekly attendance reports and administer write ups
  • Assist and motivate with completion of MyDevelopment courses
  • Employee recognition team leader – handle ordering of prizes and awards
  • Administer HRIS system changes
  • Assist with employee issues and walk in questions
  • Assist on various HR special projects; participate on a team
  • Maintain employee files
  • Participate in Plant meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Previous experience using HRIS software is preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of labor laws and requirements preferred
  • Ability to work with confidential information
