Responsibilities

  • Document incoming shipments, deliver to proper areas and obtaion acknowledgement of reciepts. 
  • Bills of material maitenance; coordinate with purchasing, production, sales, and customer service to ensure all bill of materials are availible to produce customer requirements in a timely manner.
  • Print and resolve issues on the JDE error log.
  • Cycle count, research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist shipping department with physical inventory and inventory adjustments.
  • Generate reports regarding inventory, scrap, etc.
  • Provide daily warehouse capacity to Materials Control Manager.
  • Assure the JDE system matches the physical inventory.
  • Process inventory adjustments from network.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Material Control Manager. 
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures. HACCP and GMPs. 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires ability to obtain a Forklift Operator Certificate (Berry Syracuse Internal training and testing).
  • Ability to read and interperet documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables. 
  • Ability to regularly walk, stand, sit.
  • Ability to occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, or crouch. 
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 65 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
