This position is required to be on-site at our Beson, North Carolina, location.

• Identify and analyze safety hazards and risks with regard to process safety and machine guarding.
• Familiarize yourself with organizations and industry best practice tools to analyze risks.
• Complete risk assessments that include physical, process, and ergonomic hazards
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for facility operations and processes.
• Analyze the findings and create a facility master scorecard.
• Implement procedures to mitigate risk following risk assessments.

• Pursuing a degree in safety, EHS, or industrial engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
