  • Coordinate all functions of the Quality Assurance department.
  • Coordinate activities related to SQF (Safety Quality Food) programs


  1. Maintain NCMR/QAN system.
  2. Maintain calibration procedures.
  3. Coordinate special projects for the QA Department as necessary.
  4. Maintain and ensure an accurate measuring and testing system.
  5. Establish and develop gauges and/or measurement techniques for (new) molds during production and/or mold qualification for both metrological and physical properties.
  6. Train other laboratory personnel in proper measurement techniques.
  7. Assist and/or coordinate CQV processes on site, as needed.
  8. Perform Measurement System analysis, including Gage R&R and Correlation Studies.
  9. Use data to drive continuous improvement.
  10. Provide monthly statistical reports.
  11. Knowledge of location of C-Pro in system and C-Pro procedures.
  12. Knowledge and the location of the Quality Departments Safety Procedures in C-Pro
  13. Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements.
  14. Oversee the development, implementation, review, management, and maintenance of the plants Food Packaging Safety Programs including SQF System.
  15. Communicate to relevant personnel all information essential to ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the SQF System.
  16. Take appropriate action to maintain the integrity of the SQF System
  17. Validate changes to Food Packaging Safety Fundamentals and HACCP Plan that have an impact on the ability to deliver safe, quality food packaging.
  18. Responsible for the validation and verification of the following SQF requirements:
    1. Pre-requisite programs
    2. Critical control points
    3. Critical packaging safety limits
    4. Monitoring activities
    5. Sampling, inspection and analysis for Food Packaging Safety
    6. Schedule and lead internal audits for Food Packaging Safety
  19. Ensure SQF training is conducted for required team members within plant.


  1. College degree, CQE or equivalent Quality/SQF experience preferred.
  2. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  3. Working knowledge of C-Pro, Ignition, Excel, and Minitab.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Proven ability to lead employees in positive manner.
